In math, we will soon finish Topic 5 skills. The test for this topic will be Friday, December 16. We will begin Topic 6 after break.

In science, we are learning finishing the factors in an environment. Each student has a vocabulary list, which is tested at the end of the unit. The test for this unit will be on Friday, December 16. Our next unit is simple machines.

In reading, we practice the vocabulary, a skill, and a reading passage daily. They have a reading notebook containing the vocabulary words weekly. There is a quiz at the end of each week on those words.

Please encourage your child to study their weekly spelling words. They will have a test on them at the end of each week.

We send a monthly notice outlining the skills we will cover that month in all subects.

The students will have a homework assignment two days a week after break.  These papers will only contain work that we have already covered.  Please encourage them to complete this work, and bring it back the next day to hand in. They will be graded on this.
