Dear Parents and Guardians,

On October 1, 2009 all students will attend an assembly on internet safety.

The presenter is from the Center for Exploited and Missing Children.

There will be several assemblies during the day on this important topic.

Handouts will be sent home with your children. Please review them.

If you need extra copies of any of these pamphlets, call the elementary office

at 495-4550.

October 2nd is Bus Driver/ Custodian Appreciation Day.

This is a good time to thank the bus drivers and our custodians for all they do

each day.

On October 9th, Kindergarten, First and Second grade students will be visiting

Colgate College to attend a live theatrical performance by "Junie B Jones"

and "Mr. Woo."  Junie B. is a character from a series of books . She will be

sharing some of her favorite things which are stored in her "Trunk of Junk." 

There will be an opportunity for a class picture in front of the Stupid, Smelly Bus,

from one of Junie B.'s books. This presentation will help sustain the excitement

of reading for our young students.

On Ocober 12th there will be no school due to the celebration of Columbus Day.
