Chapter Meeting
Items discussed and decisions
-Possibly helping the Shermerhorn farm.  The owner of the farm is going in for surgery, and will be unable to work for a while.  It was decided that we should contact the farm and offer help to follow up with our decision to do more community service.
-We decided upon a date for the Sr. High FFA Christmas party.  It is to be held on December 20 from 5pm to 8pm at Ms. McCaffrey's house.
-Due to increasing membership, and budget cuts, we had to decide what to do about Winter Weekend.  The school will only pay for one bus, so we decided to pay for a second bus so that everyone that wanted to could go.
-Also discussed was the transition from wooden boxes to woven baskets for our annual community fruit baskets.  These baskets are given to elderly members of the community.  It was decided to pay a little more to make nicer woven baskets.
Happy Holidays
